National Power’s domestic arm, npower of the UK, is to repair a Kosovan war-damaged power station in a deal worth around £20 million ($44.5 million). The contract is backed by the EU and will see the coal-fired plant repaired by an npower -led consortium that also includes Mitsui Babcock and Alstom. The project will secure the country’s winter supply.
