Ballard Generation Systems, Ebara Corp, Ebara Ballard and Osaka Gas have agreed on a collaborative venture to develop stationary fuel cell cogeneration plants for the Japanese market based on Ballard’s proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Ebara Ballard will design a cogeneration system to provide domestic electric power and heat and the units will be integrated with fuel systems developed by Osaka Gas.
