French engineering group Cegelec has won five contracts in France’s wind power sector which cover 70 turbines with a combined capacity of 100 MW. The developments will increase the national wind capacity by about25% with Cegelec holding a 30% share in the domestic wind power market.
The contracts include those for the 39 MW Plateau d’Ally wind park in the south-central region Haute-Loire, which is set to be the largest such development in France when it is commissioned, due this year. Financial terms were not disclosed.
