The severe weather damaged dozens of pylons leaving about 250,000 without power over the past weekend. Some areas remain blacked out.
Operators are understood to be citing force majeure.
Germany facing extended power cuts
Almost a week of power cuts have struck parts of Germany after heavy snow, ice and wind battered the transmission system in the west of the country.
