Wood Group Power has acquired Lovegreen Turbine Services, a Minnesota based concern. The latter has annual sales of around $20 million. The purchase forms part of Wood Group’s strategy to offer a complete service package for turbine operators in the USA. Lovegreen specialises in providing field service for gas and steam turbines in the US Midwest. The company handles turbines with outputs in the range 50 MW to 300 MW.
