Aecon Group, a Toronto-based construction company, has been awarded a $38 million contract to build a dam for Hydro-Quebec on the Toulnustouc river in northern Quebec. The project involves construction of a dam, a nearby dike and a diversion tunnel for the hydropower scheme. Work is expected to be completed in three years.
