These gensets are designed primarily to provide reliable power suitable for non-regulated markets or non-mobile applications. This, says the company, is achieved mainly by the combination of the FG Wilson engine and the Marelli alternator, which provides coastal insulation protection and a RFI filter as standard.

Outputs in the 50 Hz range are 8.5-250 kVA (prime power) and 9.5-275 kVA (standby). In the 60 Hz range they are 11.0-262.5 kVA (prime) and 12.0-290 kVA (standby). Standard features include an electronic governor, low oil pressure protection, high water temperature protection, automatic voltage regulator, a 3-pole circuit breaker and an 8 hour fuel tank.

Cable access is gained directly from underneath the control panel for ease of installation with the control panel tower providing full access to all components and wiring. The unit is designed for 8 hours running at full load in prime applications. The compact base frame provides lifting points as standard, and servicing and maintenance is aided by the easily accessible components – oil and coolant drains are conveniently located as are the fuel fill and gauge, which are positioned.

The base frame is constructed from high-grade, heavy-duty steel and further protected by powder coat paint, to promote durability and maximum corrosion resistance.

Enclosed sets have a robust steel enclosure structure also protected by powder coat paint, and can be further protected with the galvanised steel option if desired. Installation and servicing is aided by side hinged doors and lift-off end panels providing.

Generator set running conditions can be monitored via the large viewing window with the emergency stop button located beside the control panel on the outside of the enclosure. Generator cable access is available directly from underneath the control panel via the end of the base frame.

Main features are said to include engine & AC monitoring, run/auto keys with LED indicators, spare digital I/O channels, active voltage sender functionality, configuration of parameters by front panel push buttons or by PC via mini USB interface, true RMS voltage sensing, under/over voltage protection, an automatic start control module, and integrated metering and controls including monitoring, protection, operational status, fault conditions and metering displayed via LCD and LED displays.
