Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has received an order for two 32 MW H-25 gas turbines for an 80 MW LNG-fired combined cycle CHP plant being developed by Qingdao Energy Kaiyuan Thermoelectricity Co, which is owned by the city of Qingdao. Scheduled to begin operation in December 2018, it will provide power and heat for industry in the Qingdao national high-tech development zone.
