AES goes for ABB

UK AES group plants Drax, Barry, Fifoots Point, Indian Queens and Medway Power have chosen ABB’s genesisplusTM trading system for their dealings in the New Electricity Trading Arrangements. 5400 MW is expected to be traded under the ABB system, which manages market interfaces and provides operational support.
