the Electricity Supply Board of Ireland has awarded a ¤6.7 million contract to Integrated Utility Services (IUS) to refurbish parts of the electricity network in the Republic of Ireland. The work, which involves updating and improving up to 1000km of overhead line at Kerry Head and Longford is expected to take up to 12 months to complete. IUS is part of Northern Electric plc.
