The Romanian utility SC Electrica SA has awarded a contract for six 110/20 kV substations to ABB. The turnkey deal is worth $19 m. The substations will be installed to reinforce the local 110 kV distribution network operated by SC Electrica. ABB expects the project to include design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and testing. Implementation is expected within the next eighteen months.
