Turkey votes for Perkins

Perkins is supplying engines to genset manufacturer Cukurova for one of Turkey's principal private banks, the Yapi Kredi. The gensets will be used for standby power, and will consist of 4 x 1100 kVA/10 kV, and 2 x 1650 kVA/0.4 kV.

Cukurova also supplied four Perkins engines to one of Ankara's major hypermarkets, Migros Store Chinas. Total power supplied is 3900 kVA, with 4 gensets parallel to the mains. Turkcell, Turkey's largest mobile phone operator, chose Cukurova gensets for standby power.
