AmerGen Energy, which is currently negotiating to buy the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plan, has said that it is interested in buying three other New England reactors.
A spokesman for the company said that AmerGen would be bidding to buy Millstone 1 and 2 in Connecticut, and Seabrook in New Hampshire. Northeast Utilities, which owns these plants, is under state mandate to auction them off.
