The UK government has transferred its shareholding in the nuclear power generating company Mangox Electric to British Nuclear Fuels Ltd. (BNFL). The generator has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of the nuclear fuel company.
Full integration of the combined business is expected to be completed early in 1999. The move is, however, subject to the two companies meeting the requirements of the relevant regulators.
