Hunterstown Power Co has appointed PB Power as owner’s engineer for construction of the 343MW Hunterstown power plant. The gas-fired combined cycle facility is to be constructed close to Dublin airport. Siemens is turnkey contractor for the project. Commercial operation is scheduled for 2002. Power from the new station will be delivered to the Irish national grid.
