The Egyptian Electricity Authority and the New and Renewable Energy Authority is to invite bidders for a BOOT project for an integrated solar combined cycle power plant. This is to incorporate 30 MWe of solar thermal generation and a natural gas-fired element with a maximum capacity of four times the solar portion.
