With operating and development geothermal generation projects in California, Utah, and Nevada, the company holds an aggregate capacity of 150 MW.
The acquisition includes one operating and four advanced stage geothermal development projects expected to come on stream over the next four years.
The agreement calls for an initial payment of approximately $90m and milestone-based contingent payments.
