Commissioning of Ørsted’s 300 MW Eleven Mile Solar Centre was completed on 11 October. The 1200 MWh battery energy storage system located in Pinal County near Phoenix, Arizona. has the capacity to produce enough energy to provide power to businesses, homes, and Meta’s planned data centre in Mesa, Arizona.

With the Eleven Mile Solar Centre completed, Ørsted now has 5.6 GW of onshore renewables in operation globally.
