Slovakia’s Star Group has finished building the first phase of the largest solar power plant in Ukraine. It is located near Chervony Perekop and Vasylyivka settlements of Kakhovka District in Kherson region and has a nameplate capacity of 120 MW.

In July the National Commission for Energy Regulation issued a licence to generate electricity to Star Pivden Energo LLC (Kherson), the subsidiary of Slovakia’s Star EU A.S., which will operate the plant and sell the electricity it generates.
