TXU Europe, through TXU Nordic Energy, signed a contract to take 400 MWe from RAO EES ROSSI through an interconnector between Russia and Finland. The deal covers a period of four years from 2001.
TXU Europe will control 890 MWe in the region, made up of this deal of 190 MWe, 580 MWe from its partner, PVO, and 120 MWe from two Norwegian hydro plants.
