Over a period of less than five years, more than 9,850 tenders and auctions have been held on the e-trading floor, with more than 27,390 bids and offers submitted through the system. Currently, the system is used by most suppliers to the company, over 11,100 entities from 42 countries.
Large-scale e-tender procurement of works and services to design, construct, and equip energy facilities on a turnkey basis provides maximum transparency and non-discriminatory access to the system for all suppliers, while optimising the cost of goods and services procured, the company says.
