The biomass-fuelled power plant, named KVV-Turbingatan, will have an output of 19.3 MWth and 3.2 MWe and is due to begin supplying heat at the end of 2007 and electricity at the end of March 2008.
Wärtsilä in Swedish biomass CHP deal
A contract for equipment and installation for a biomass-fuelled combined heat and power plant (CHP) by Halmstads Energi och Miljö AB (HEM) has been awarded to Wärtsilä. The city of Halmstad is located on Sweden’s southwest coast.
