The company will provide an on-line chemistry analysis system to replace manual sample collection and laboratory analysis of 16 primary chemistry parameters and will supply the hardware system, as well as project management, system integration, site activities and installation. Some preliminary installation work at the 953 MW VVER pressurised water reactors will begin in 2007, with the main system installation for unit 5 scheduled for spring 2008 and unit 6 for autumn 2008.
Westinghouse wins Kozloduy contract
A contract to provide Primary Side Chemistry Monitoring Systems for units 5 and 6 of the Kozloduy plant (KNPP) in Bulgaria has been won by Westinghouse.
